The Portrait Society of America’s 2nd International Self Portrait Project “A View of Self” is an online-only contest, and the winners of the contest will be selected by voters. During the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis, we are challenging artists around the world to paint, draw, or sculpt their self-portrait because you are your best model during this time. The Entry Fee is $5.00, and every vote for your favorite work is $1.00. Funds raised will be used to support the ongoing educational programming of the Portrait Society of America.

Submission opens on June 23, 2021 at 8:00 AM EST and closes on July 23, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST. Voting will begin on July 24, 2021 at 12:00 AM EST and end on August 23, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST. The First, Second, and Third place winners will be announced by chairman Michael Shane Neal on August 26, 2021.

1st Place – 2022 Conference Tuition and featured article (a $635.00+ value)
2nd Place – 2021 Fall Portrait Academy tuition (a $235.00 value)
3rd Place – 1-year membership (a $70.00 value)
