Peters Valley School of Craft presents its 50th Annual Craft Fair, a juried exhibition and sale, September 26 & 27, 2020. The jury will accept 150 artists. The show receives approximately 5,000 attendees mainly from NJ, NY, PA, CT. The show is held at the fully accessible Sussex County Fairgrounds, with indoor booths spaces as well as a limited number of outdoor spaces. Inexpensive accommodations are available on the fairgrounds and on Peters Valley’s campus. The show is advertised extensively throughout the tri-state area and on social media. Peters Valley is a nationally recognized non-profit (just 60 miles from NYC) focused on cultivating creative thinking through fine craft media and educating the public about fine craft. We do this through immersion learning workshops for adults and youth (blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, fine metals, photography, woodworking, and special topics/glass), outreach events, artist residencies as well as public lectures and gallery exhibitions. Proceeds support the educational programming and scholarships at Peters Valley. Cash prizes will be awarded.
