My name is Darrell O’Sullivan. I am an artist and photographer. I am passionate about revealing nature’s beauty and expression in my art. My images come from a vision that “the end print is not meant to represent reality”, it represents an “my ideal vision of reality”. Most of my images are from locations in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe.
I print and sign each limited print. I print using Fine Art or Metallic Paper. If you are interested in purchasing a print, please contact me at [email protected] and we can talk about what image, size and paper is best for your needs. I can often print an image so you can add a mat and put it into a standard size and reasonable priced frame.
I am a self-taught artist and photographer and have been an artist all of my life. I enjoy sculpturing and visual arts. I am active in the local and regional art scene. My camera is a Sony Alpha7RIII mirrorless and a variety of Zeiss/Sony lens and photographic software including Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom and Photoshop), Nik and Topaz Plug-ins. My printers include an Epson SureColor P5000 and an Epson Stylus Pro 3880 with K3 and HDR inks which produce images with 200 years of longevity.
I also contribute framed and matted photographic art to fundraising events – the KVIE Art Auction, the UC Davis Children’s Hospital, Western Neuropathy Association, UC Hospice, Cancer Society, Crocker Art Museum and many more.
