Artist Academy Jr. engages children and families with the arts and their community through story-telling and creative activities led by Program Coordinator Georgia O’Neil, with help from other artists.
Each Saturday (starting in October excluding Halloween and Thanksgiving weekend), several books pertaining to creative fun and the impact of the arts will be read to the children. Following the story-time, there will be a hands-on craft for children and parents to engage in together and with their neighbors. All are welcome!
Warning: Children may come home with tendencies to paint and draw on everything!
