Plains Art Museum presents its Permanent Collection show, that focuses on the ideas and creative actions of artists.

In this exhibition the audience will visually experience the actions that express the artists’ processes, intensions, narratives, or functions. Creative Actions is a gathering of Plains Art Museum Permanent Collection based on the theme of Art as Function, Art as Form, Art as Play, Art as Place, and Art as Material. Featured will be local, regional, and national artists, including Mies van der Rohe, Andy Warhol, Fritz Scholder, Salvador Dali, Frank Big Bear, Star Wallowing Bull, Judy Onofrio, William Wegman, Fred Scheel, Cyrus Running, Ansel Adams, Dale Chihuly, Mike Marth, David Bradley, Walter Piehl, Mary Cassatt, and Luis Jimenez.
