Calling all Instagrammers in the area to help us show the world our #NewLondon. We are collecting submissions on Instagram under #NewLondonNoFilter that show your own experience of this City. We are looking for an #Unflitered view of the unique life of this City and perhaps photos that you wouldn’t normally post on Instagram because they don’t show the typical “shiny-life” that many of us display on social media. We want photos that show the raw beauty of this City and maybe feature some photos of the hardship this City faces as well. Your personal take on life here is the goal.

When looking at submissions, we will look at:
-The honesty of the Image
– Capturing the essence of life in this City
– Photo must be taken in New London
– Image quality

Submissions are due via Instagram by August 1st, 2017.
Simply use the hashtag- #NewLondonNoFilter
Submission Fees? There are none!
We of course happily accept donations to Hygienic Art through Hygienic.org OR by mailing a check to Hygienic Art at 79 Bank Street New London, CT.

Pricing: All Images that Hygienic Art prints and selects will be for sale at $15 ea. Because some of the submissions will be anonymous (and we need to cover our printing costs), 100% of sales from #NewLondonNoFilter will be donated to Hygienic Art.

We will be printing out the selected images to share in the underground gallery of Hygienic Art and will include your “label” info based on what your write in your Instagram Caption.

What we aim to accomplish- We want to give New London locals a voice through publicly sharing their images and share this collection in an exchange with another City – London, UK next year and invite them to share images of their City with us in 2018!
