The City of Napa has issued a request for qualification (RFQ) from all artists who have demonstrated experience in designing and producing, and/or overseeing the production of, site-responsive public art. Through this RFQ process, the City will select an artist (or artist team) to design, fabricate, and collaborate with the local community, to install artwork upon the City’s Corporation Yard fence.
This project will be unique in that it encourages a professional artist (or artist team) to utilize members of the community (i.e. young people, seniors, or other groups) to help produce the artwork at the project site.
