Full Sun: American Women Artists Illuminate the Haggin Museum, will be the third exhibition in American Women Artists’ 25 in 25 initiative; to have twenty-five museum shows for women artists over the next 25 years.
The Haggin Museum is an art and history museum located in Stockton, California, that Sunset Magazine referred to as “one of the under-sung gems of California.” The permanent art collection is European focused. The museum has been undergoing a renovation and AWA’s show celebrates a re-examination of their collection.
AWA is dedicated to providing professional opportunities for women in the visual arts.
