Oksana Tanasiv: “Art on Date with Fashion”

June 2, 2017, 6:00-9:00pm, Lloyds International Gallery 1409 6th Ave, New York, NY 10019, USA – Oksana Tanasiv exhibits unique series of art collections inspired by Couture designs by Chanel, Versace, Dior, Valentino, Galiano, Pucci, Dolce&Gabanna, NY Fashion Week runways, and celebrities’ appearance. The place and time where fashion is transformed into fine art compositions, installations, illustrations, and gives the visitors a chance to experience Art+Fashion unique event.

Solo art show by Ukrainian-American international contemporary artist Oksana Tanasiv “Art on Date with Fashion” will start with an opening reception on Friday, June 2, 2017, from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and will continue until July 15, 2017.

Artist will present unique collections of Couture Art installations with applications of thousands of Swarovski® crystals individually applied on canvas over oil paintings. Fabric, sequins, beads – all materials used by fashion designers – are media for Oksana’Tanasiv’s fine art. Some pieces from Couture Art collection contain up to 10,000 crystals and sequins as, for example, re-creation of Dior vintage dress “Junon Dress” or Emilio Pucci dress worn by Beyonce at Met Gala event. Also, it will be presented for public the fine art from series “Fashion Illustrations”, “Odeur de Chanel”, and collection of celebrities pop-art portraits “Reincarnation”. The special guests of event will be Mis Global USA Nataliya Baltsevych and Mis World Ukraine Anna Zaiachkivska.

The visitors will have a chance to enjoy live piano performance by Natalia Birova.

Oksana Tanasiv (Oksi) is Ukrainian-American international contemporary artist, exhibitor of many International shows, events, and galleries. She is known as a fashion fine artist of New York Fashion Week. Her Fashion Art collections were presented on Times Square, Waldorf Astoria, Wall Street, and other venues of NYFW every seasons since 2012.
Oksana’s works are presented by Space Flat Art in London (UK and Europe), and Lloyds International Gallery (NYC).
