In Conceal and Reveal, Denise Driscoll and Kay Hartung present paintings that use additive and subtractive processes to explore hidden worlds at Fountain Street, June 21 – July 30. A reception will be held Friday, July 7, from 5-8 PM.
Conceal and Reveal includes paintings from two longstanding investigations of the unseen and unknown. Both artists obscure fully rendered patterns and trust what lies below to re-emerge as they scrape, carve, sand, torch, incise and otherwise manipulate their materials.
