American Women Artists and the Tucson Museum of Art are sponsoring an all day Symposium on Women in the Arts. Beginning at 9:00 am and running until approximately 3 pm, the event is free to the public. There will be 5 speakers – including Lisa Sorrell, one of the leading custom cowboy bootmakers in America and Dr. Mark Sublette, gallery owner and an expert on Native women weavers.
