Whether novice or veteran in colored pencil, discover and become proficient with a new layering technique that allows you to capture drama and detail beyond what you thought possible with colored pencil. We’ll take a broad look at contemporary colored pencil artists, try various stroke applications, begin a unique color match strip (determining what pencils to use for specific colors within subjects) which many keep as a life-long reference tool, have plenty of one-on-one time, and design and begin a final original artwork, leaving the workshop confident in the ability to complete it with excellence.
