Florida Museum of Photographic Arts
Entry Deadline: Aug. 18
Calling all photographers! The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is now accepting submissions for its 17th annual Members Show. Museum members can submit photographic art to the show through August 18. There will be eight categories featured in this year’s exhibition: Travel, Forms and Figures, Fashion, Food, Design, Tampa Heritage, Science/Technology and Animals.
All submissions will be installed in the museum’s Community Gallery. An opening reception and awards ceremony will be held at the museum from 5-7 p.m. on August 25. Winners from each category will receive a prize awarded by our sponsors.
“The Members Show is a great opportunity for both the museum and our membership,” said FMoPA Executive Director Zora Carrier, Ph.D. “It allows us to showcase our members’ talent and diverse perspectives, and at the same time, it’s an excellent platform for our members to gain exposure for their work.”
To participate in the show, each artist must already be a member of the museum or sign up for a membership at the time of submission. Members may submit one physical entry to the show; household membership holders may submit two entries. Cost of entry is $35 per membership.
