Boston Sculptors Gallery is proud to announce the Launchpad exhibition for Sang-Jeong Lee’s work titled “Memory of Clay” February 26 through March 29th 2026 with a first Friday reception March 6th 5-8:30pm and an artist reception March 14th, 2-5pm, including an artist talk at 3pm.
Memory of Clay features hand-built ceramic works that explore time, memory, and material presence through accumulated form and surface. Composed of coil-built vessels and sculptural objects, the works reveal traces of touch, repetition, and quiet endurance.
Lee’s practice is informed by her background in photography, where she became interested in the contrast between the decisive moment and time as a continuous, unfolding process.
