The Winter’s Eve “Juror’s Award” includes a SOLO 2015 Exhibit at the gallery.
Juror – Carol Strause FitzSimonds (www.csfitzsimonds.com): Printmaker, book artist, instructor and a former gallery curator, for the past three decades Carol has exhibited her work at colleges, museums, and galleries across the United States and abroad. Settled in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, Carol teaches printmaking at the Providence Art Club. Her art can be found in numerous private and public collections including: the Smithsonian, Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, National Museum of Women in the Arts, United States Library of Congress, New Britain Museum of American Art, Slater Art Museum, and Newport Art Museum. Carol’s work has been featured in the Best of Printmaking, an International Collection (1997), The Artists’ Magazine (2003), 100 Artists of New England (2011) and Journal of the Print Worlds (2012). The Friends of East Greenwich Free Library are honored to have Carol Strause FitzSimonds as the juror for Winter’s Eve.

•Exhibition: Thursday, December 4 to Friday, January 2, 2015
•Delivery date: Friday, November 28, 2-4pm & Saturday, November 29, 10am – 1:00pm
•Fee $10 per piece or $25 for three (CHECK OR CASH ONLY). This is a Library fundraiser.
•Pickup for declined work: Monday, December 1, 4:00pm – 6:00 pm
•Artists will be notified via email no later than 11/30 of their acceptance/decline status
•Pickup of exhibited work: Saturday, January 3 . 10 am to noon
•No Commission is required by the Friends of the Library
