Painting on the Edge is an annual international open call, competition and exhibition open to all artists worldwide. Artists will get to show and sell original artworks at the gallery of registered non-profit Federation of Canadian Artists on famous Granville Island. Each year this exhibition encourages artists to challenge themselves in their current practice and get out of their artistic comfort zones. Now in its fourteenth year, successful artists will have one artwork displayed for two weeks between August 16 – September 4 at the Federation Gallery on Granville Island, Vancouver, B.C. Artists and their artworks also feature in a commemorative catalogue of the exhibition.
