Figure Draw-A-Thon

A fundraiser to support Garrison Art Center

Saturday, January 31 from 11 am – 6 pm

Spend the day with your artistic side in a fun-filled, 7-hour figure-drawing session at your favorite local art center!

Two workstations will run simultaneously throughout the day, one with a nude model and one clothed model. A variety of models will be featured doing short, medium, and longer poses, and artists may move freely between each.

Participants work independently, with a facilitator on hand. Students are free to come and go throughout the day; there will be a mid-day break from 2pm-3pm as part of the schedule. Warm up with a cup of hot cider all day long and enjoy some snacks during the break.  Bring your own favorite drawing materials. Some basic materials and a limited number of easels and drawing boards will be available on a first come, first serve basis. All skill levels are welcome. Participants must be 18+ years of age.
