Photographer Beth Achenbach had an idea one day that it would be fun to freeze everyday items and then take photographs of them in frozen suspension. She began filling her freezer at home with plastic containers filled with, flowers, nails, toys, and different “experiments” as she likes to say. What she discovered was that the ice really became a medium just like paint, paper or clay. The show will be on display for the entire month of September and you can visit during LITM’s normal business hours. www.litm.com
