Drawing Jazz & Picturing Dance is an an exhibition of oil pastels by Lawrence Terry and photographs by Maria Fonseca, on display at the Roasted Granola Cafe in Arlington Heights from June 5 through August 28, 2023.Organized by the Arlington Commission for Arts & Culture (ArtsArlington) and the Arlington Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion as part of the Black Joy Project. The Black Joy Project celebrates the accomplishments and contributions of Black people connected to town life — and offers opportunities for people to gather, meet, share, and build community. Funded by a Public Art for Spatial Justice Grant from the New England Foundation for the Arts.
