Artist Statement: All Is Becoming explores the in-progress nature of the human experience through the use of digital aesthetics and representational woodcarving. Becoming exposes the artist’s process from the initial gluing up of blocks, to the sketching and carving processes explored in Archer’s work. The Replicas surrounding this figurative installation serve as a reflection of the temporal nature of all of life.
