The Russian Cultural Center “Our Texas” is pleased to announce its latest project, made in collaboration with Advita Fund USA: Pop Into Summer, a summer social event to be held in our gallery on July 27th, 2018!

To celebrate summer, RCC “Our Texas” and Advita Fund USA will hold “Pop Into Summer”, a cocktail party and silent auction with all proceedings and donations going towards providing treatment to cancer patients across the former Soviet Union, as well as supporting the Russian Cultural Center. The auction will feature a wide variety of unique Russian art from our collection, paintings created by children with cancer, and a variety of auction items. We will also be giving away a special prize through a raffle.

Who We Are: The Russian Cultural Center is a unique nonprofit organization that brings Russian culture to Texas via live music concerts, symphony performances, art and photography exhibitions, documentary film screenings and festivals, theater and dance performances, artistic workshops, and language lessons. Our mission is to celebrate, share, and promote Russian cultural awareness for the enrichment of the Texas community.

Advita Fund USA: A locally-run nonprofit, the primary mission of Advita Fund USA (http://www.advitausa.org/) is to help cancer patients get access to the most effective treatments available. The goal of Advita USA is to make sure that cancer patients’ lives depend not on their income or birthplace, but on the progress of modern medicine. They support children and adults alike, helping patients to access foreign bone marrow donor registries and enabling patients with rarer, less understood forms of cancer to travel abroad to receive treatment or participate in clinical trials.

Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
