Marla Sullivan’s paintings reflect the feel of the visible world and encourage viewers to take a closer look. Marla uses vibrant intense colors and bold brushwork to create hybrid paintings combining aspects of still life, abstract flowers and landscapes. Her art naturally flows from who she is and her own world.
As Sullivan states: “I believe in the totality of painting and see the emotional connection of the painting to the viewer as the critical element”.
