The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (FMoPA) will open its annual Members Show Friday at the museum. The exhibition, which is generously sponsored by the Lighting Foundation, will feature more than 100 photographs submitted by the museum’s members in a variety of categories.

“We are so excited to work with talented local photographers, and we look forward to exhibiting all of their wonderful submissions,” said FMoPA Executive Director Zora Carrier, Ph.D. “I think it’s going to be our strongest Members Show to date.”

An opening reception for the exhibition will be held at the museum from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, August 25. The reception is open to the public. Admission is pay-as-you choose, and all proceeds benefit FMoPA.

A panel of judges will select winners from each of the seven featured categories and award prizes at the reception. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for a best-in-show winner.

All entries to the show will be on display in the museum’s community gallery through October 13. Admission to the museum is free for members and $10 for not-yet members.
