11:30am: Doors Open, Coffee + Refreshments
12-1pm: Artist Talk with Kim Weston and Rev. Kevin G. Ewing. Artist Communities, Spiritual Communities: A Look at Why, When and How We Gather. Moderated by Sarah Fritchey. Curator at Artspace.
1-2pm: Caravan over to the New Britain Museum of American Art. (approximately 40 min by car) Need a ride? Sign up for our Carpool here.

2-2:30pm: Walk through the Museum’s Permanent Collection to view Natalie Ball’s response to the 1873 painting, Death of the Soto, by Johann Mengels Culverhouse.

2:30-3:30pm: Artist Talk with Natalie Ball. Representation, Authorship and Voice: Making Space for Contemporary Indigenous Voices in the Interpretation of Colonial Art Collections. Moderated by Kate Swanson, Manager of Family & Studio Programs at NBMAA
