The definition of ‘dotard’ is an old person, especially one who is weak and senile. The word was introduced to many by an authoritarian leader from North Korea during a Twitter feud with the current president of the United States. The curator of this show, Dan Alvarado, could not think of a better title of the show to describe the current course of digression of the country’s political beliefs and the today’s political system.

On December 8, 2017, World Money Gallery will be hosting “American Dotard”, a group political exhibition that invites more than a handful of talented artists to contribute work that comments on the disarray of current American politics.

Participating artists include:

Raul Barquet
Nick C Kirk
Bart Vargas
Christian Hooker
Heath Kane
Dan Alvarado

The exhibition will be displayed from December 8-10, with the reception occurring on December 8 from 6 – 10 PM. World Money Gallery is located at 41 Montrose Avenue, Brooklyn, NY. Directions to the gallery by subway is taking the J/Z/M train to Lorimer Street, or the G train to Broadway.
