This week we visit Art Museums and Galleries of Dallas Fort Worth

The Art Guide staff gathered to celebrated another special summer travel event in their journey across southwest United States. At the Kimbell Art Museum, in Fort Worth Texas they toured the historic presentation, Renaissance, Art of War. Our crew was surprised to discover that the tapestry work of fine wool, silk, and metal-wrapped threads, commissioned many of Europe’s greatest artists at a much more costly endeavor than oil paintings.

The experience encouraged Art Guide’s travel crew to record the event in sketchbook journals, that they now share as a daily drawing routine in this week’s Art Guide Blog, ArTalk.
