“Nostalgia” – Opening Reception for Jeanine Jones
Charleston Artist Guild Gallery
Dec. 1, 2017, 12:00 am
The Charleston Artist Guild Gallery is pleased to present “Nostalgia,” a collection of new works by Jeanine Jones. Jeanine is the featured artist at the CAG Gallery during the month of December. Her exhibit will continue through December 31.
Jeanine Jones is a lowcountry artist with a love for Plein Air painting. After years of living many different places, she has chosen to make the lowcountry her home. She loves painting the many landscapes from the ocean to the estuaries, to the beautiful historic places that dot the landscape all over the Carolina coast. She loves the rich history of this area and the fine people who call it home.
Jeanine states, “All throughout the year, we seem to be in such a hurry. I love getting together with family because it always gives us a little time to just relax. Time to go for a walk, play a game, eat a meal together or just read a book. The holidays hold so many memories for us and even the youngest child knows that the holidays are special.” In this series, titled “Nostalgia,” the artist attempts to bring a smile to your face and cause you to remember some of your own special moments.
Please join us during this holiday season for the opening reception on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Charleston Artist Guild Gallery from 5-8 pm. The gallery, located at 160 East Bay Street, is open daily from 11-6pm. Sales made at the gallery support the nonprofit Guild’s community outreach work.
