The KNOKKE ART FAIR stands for a bespoke selection of collectable artworks.
The KNOKKE ART FAIR is a fully independent art fair,focussing on quality with a competent vetting taking place before the opening of the fair.
The organizers aim at offering visitors an international window onto the current high-end scene of modern & contemporary art, design and ancient objects- each one carefully chosen.
4 different worlds
From the welcoming CHANDELIER HALL, where you can explore a fine selection of modern art, you arrive in the BONAPARTE HALL. There, you will find contemporary art dealers and an exciting selection of designers, one-(wo)man shows.
From the MAGRITTE HALL, where you can explore modern art, you reach the FLEMISH SALON where the exhibition HIGHLIGHTS.be can be discovered.
Chandelier Hall
In 1953, the world-famous chandelier was inaugurated. At that time, it was the biggest chandelier in all of Europe. It is made up of 22,000 pieces of Murano, Venice crystals. The impressive chandelier weighs around 7 tonnes and is 7.5 meters high and 8.5 meters wide. Over 3km of wiring connect over 2,000 lights to generate its heavenly light!
