Park, Yong-Il has explored the following subjects through painting: Landscape-Wind Series, Disordered Landscape Series, Paper boat Landscape Series. In fact, landscapes literally appear in the subjects; however, the landscapes are not usual nature or rural scenes. Those landscapes are places that are being redeveloped or scheduled to be so. They indeed appear to be tranquil scenery rather than landscapes – a kind of sociological landscape which is tightly adhered to a real life or reality itself.
