Mulberry House
Jun. 24, 2025 - Aug. 31, 2015
The Westfield Art Association (WAA) is pleased to welcome the first in a series of member exhibitions to be presented at various locations in Westfield, NJ. The premiere exhibition, hosted by Mulberry House at 415 Westfield Avenue, features 20 pieces of original artwork by 12 WAA member artists. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a lovely, locally sourced meal while enjoying original, locally made artwork. The exhibition will run through August 31, 2015.
Participating member artists include Marga Blaser, Laura Brown, Virginia Carroll, John V. Curch, Stephen d’Amato, Darsey Hoelzer, Mary Ann Iannitto, Jean Literate, Mildred Lubas, Virginia Puskar, Sharon Reed, and Barbara Uhr. Mediums include acrylic, oil, pastel and watercolor with works varying in style but holding to the themes of food, flora, New Jersey, and beach scenes.
The WAA board is excited to collaborate with local businesses and offer their members additional exhibition opportunities while presenting the community with an occasion to discover the artistic diversity in the Westfield community. The next WAA exhibition will be at Gallery U Boutique on Tuesday evenings in July during the Sweet Sounds Downtown Jazz Festival. Different WAA member artists will be featured each Tuesday in July during the jazz performances. This will be followed by another member exhibition at Limani Seafood Grill in September.
