The Art League of Rhode Island is pleased to announce its second quarterly exhibition of 2015, titled “Transparencies.” Six Rhode Island artists share their personal perspectives on transparencies as expressed in their artwork, framed by the gallery’s distinctive location overlooking the city.

Working in a variety of mediums, the participating artists are Deborah Baronas, Michelle Benoit, Tom Deininger, Steven Easton, Philippe Lejeune, and Saberah Malik. ALRI board member Uli Brahmst has curated the exhibition with curatorial consultant Judith Tolnick Champa.

This exhibition can be viewed Thursdays and Fridays, from 12 to 3 p.m., and by appointment, as well as during scheduled events at The VETS. There will be an opening reception on Tuesday, April 7, from 5:30–8:00 p.m. Vocalist Laurie Amat will perform as part of Philippe Lejeune’s installation.
