The Essex Art Association Gallery will open a unique exhibition featuring the artwork of students of Lyme Academy College on October 21st, on view until October 31st. Lyme’s Student Exhibition Committee has organized the show, entitled Transformation.
The student body of Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts, a college of the University of New Haven, is international. Its programs in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture and Illustration offer a strong foundation leading to advanced articulations. Examples of both phases of Lyme’s programs and the development from one to the other that enables its students to attain mastery of their media will be on display in Transformation.

Many of the exhibiting students have participated in several professional exhibitions, and have been commissioned for paintings, children’s book contracts, and even rock band commissions.
All original artwork will be priced for sale
The opening reception is Friday, October 21st from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, and work will remain here until October 31st.
