On February 27th, Worrell Smith Gallery opens a new exhibit entitled “Rolling Out The Good Stuff”, featuring nine Female Connecticut-Based Printmakers. The show celebrates Women’s History Month throughout March, and portions from each sale will be donated to women’s support charities.

Exploring the dynamics of the modern day woman, the exhibit focuses on small print works that provide insight into the minds of nine artists who possess radically different perspective, technique, and imagery.

Rolling Out The Good Stuff features the work of Barbara Harder, Nancy Lasar, Roxanne Faber Savage, Yolanda Petrocelli, Leslie Giuliani, Ann Chernow, Nomi Silverman, Susan Newbold, and Deborah Weiss.

“The works are, themselves, cause for celebration. Contemporary society is on show, as seen through the minds of our very own,” remarks Greg Smith, Director. “The show covers identity while being a cannon for both action and reaction. It’s a celebration of the works of these nine women and a lens to view them in the perspective of women throughout history who were creators themselves.”

Encompassing a variety of small prints, available both framed and unframed, the show will be on view through March 27th.

The February 27th opening is open to the public and begins at 6:30PM at 611 Riverside Ave, Westport, CT. The show runs February 27th to March 27th. For more information, please visit www.worrellsmithgallery.com.
