Gallery West in the McKinley Arts & Culture Center is proud to host the Artists Co-operative Gallery of Reno in their exhibition “Northern Nevada Artists.” The Biggest Little City has a hidden gem at 627 Mill Street that all art lovers in the area should know about: The Artists Co-operative Gallery of Reno. Did you know that the little white-faced brick building, built in 1907 as a “French Laundry,” has been operating as a cooperative art gallery since 1966? Their exhibition, “Northern Nevada Artists,” at McKinley Gallery West will showcase their members’ work in a variety of mediums, including oil and acrylic paintings, watercolor, pastel, mixed media, and photography. This small sampling of art is guaranteed to pique your curiosity for a separate visit to view even more of their members’ work at the Co-op Gallery. The exhibition will run from February 20 to April 7, 2023 in McKinley Arts and Culture Center, Gallery West. The public is invited to attend the artists’ reception on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
