METAL SCULPTURE, a solo show by Gar Waterman, includes sculptures inspired by a range of subjects–insects, orchids, birds, diatoms–as well as the odd utilitarian construct from his Tin Man series. It runs concurrent with A Diversity of Lines by Robert Bienstock. September 8 to October 9; Opening Reception on Saturday, September 10, 4:00 – 7:00 pm.

Waterman has been a member of Kehler Liddell Gallery since 2004. His art has been exhibited in a number of gallery and museum exhibitions including the Mattatuck Museum (Waterbury), the Alexi Von Schlippe Gallery (New London), WOCA Gallery (Maine), and the Alva Gallery (New London). His work can also be found in a number of private and corporate collections, as well as in public art exhibits including Lincoln Financial Riverfront Reclamation Project (Hartford), the Plainville Public Library, and The Connecticut Children’s Museum.
