JOHN HERRIN: Nature Mort
November 18 – December 30, 2017
Artist Reception: Saturday, November 18, 2017 From 5:00 – 8:00
A small exhibition of still lives by Houston artist, John Herrin, will be on view at PDNB Gallery. After Hurricane Ike hit Houston, Herrin’s flower arrangements within his home took on a different character in darkness, resulting in the days long power outage. That was when he decided to photograph the flowers that his wife often brought to the house, beautifully inserted into unique vases from their collection. The exhibition highlights how Herrin pursues the beauty of nature with great technical and visual acumen.
Artist reception is Saturday, November 18 from 5 – 8 pm.
