Superblue, the groundbreaking new venture dedicated to experiential art, and The Shed co-present Amsterdam-based DRIFT’s first major solo exhibition in New York, “Fragile Future,” opening on September 29. Using sound, movement, and film by DRIFT, “Fragile Future” transforms The Shed’s galleries with experiential multi-sensory installations that suggest alternative solutions for a positive future. The exhibition also marks Superblue’s debut presentation in New York, succeeding the launch of its premiere experiential art center in Miami this past May. “Fragile Future” takes audiences on a journey through a series of interconnected installations; presents never-before-seen works and a series of surreal immersive performances that span the entirety of The Shed’s four-story high McCourt space; and features powerful, original music by ANOHNI, formerly of Antony and the Johnsons.
