“Beyond Brushwork,” opens at the Rowayton Arts Center on Sunday, February 4 (4-6pm). Exhibiting Members prove that one does not always need a paintbrush or a camera to make beautiful art. In this show, you will see digital art, drawings, mixed media, paper cuts, pastels and prints. The Gale Parsons Memorial Award will be presented to the winner in the category of Mixed Media. Also opening on Sunday in the Portside Gallery is the solo show of award winning artist, Pierre Lahaussois. Both exhibitions will be on view until Saturday, February 24.

Einstein, whose career has included curating, lecturing and museum work at Yale University Art Gallery, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the IBM Gallery of Science and the Glass House in New Canaan. From 2014-2017, Ms. Einstein was Executive Director of the Center of Contemporary Printmaking. Currently she is Principal of LGE Fine Art Consulting.
