The 3rd annual Great Northern Art Explosion is an open, international public art contest & exhibition held in downtown Grayling, MI, August 28 – September 11. Artists will exhibit to the public for a chance to win awards and sell their art. The public will vote to determine the $5,000 Jim & Connie Sutika grand prize winner, and the $2,000 Kirtland Community College second prize winner. Juror Valerie Allen will announce three additional juror awards – a $1,500 best of show and two $1,000 awards of excellence.
