“I am a mixed media artist focused on collected found material favoring time worn paper ephemera. All my life, I have had a love for typography and graphic design that has transferred into every aspect of my work. I am a deconstructionist who removes items from their original contexts and reconstructs in new and unexpected ways.

The shadow boxes and dimensional collage are full of new and old found pieces, creating nostalgic visual memories. Luring shadows are created by many layers of images leading to endless visual paths. My vision is to transform the familiar into something surprising and unexpected.”

The opening reception, which includes light refreshments, is on Tuesday June 9, 2015, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The show will run through July 14, 2015.

The exhibit is held at the ARTWorks Gallery on the Green located at St. Paul’s on the Green, 60 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851

ARTWorks Gallery on the Green hours are Mon.–Fri.: 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Sat.: 10 a.m.–1 p.m., and Sunday 10–11 a.m. and 12 noon–1 p.m.
