CALL FOR ARTISTS: THE BLUE SHOW – SUMMER 2025

Location: 125 Rivington Street (at Essex), Lower East Side, NYC

Saint Marks Arts invites submissions for THE BLUE SHOW, a group exhibition focused on the color blue and artistic visions of the future. The show will take place in a large gallery space in downtown Manhattan and is open to emerging and established artists working in any medium.

All submitted work must include the color blue and respond to the curatorial theme of envisioning the future. We welcome literal, symbolic, emotional, political, and experimental interpretations.

Accepted media includes painting, sculpture, mixed media, photography, video, installation, digital art, and performance. All work must be no wider than 26 inches.

Submission deadline: July 24, 2025
Submission fee: $50 per artwork

Required materials:

Artist statement (max 500 words)
High-res images (labeled Name_Title_Year_Dimensions)
Artwork description (title, year, size, materials)
Any installation needs
Drop-off: Tuesday, July 22, 4–6 PM
Pick-up: Thursday, August 7, 8–8:15 PM

All work must be delivered and picked up in person. Saint Marks Arts is not responsible for shipping. Work not collected by August 10 will incur a storage fee.

Sales: 50% commission on gallery sales; 40% on Artsy.
Prices submitted are final.
