Exciting Afternoon Events

2 pm – 5 pm
HVCCA is proud to present an exciting afternoon of events highlighting the diverse accomplishments of women artists. The program will feature a panel discussion with artists and curators, a profoundly moving short play, and a live dance performance with live music!
2 – 3 pm: a panel discussion on the exhibition on view at the museum entitled “The Women’s Room: Female Perspectives on Men, Women, Family and Nation.”
3 – 4 pm: Mara Mills presents “What Comes Around” by playwright Donna Barkman, who acts in the play along with Louise Kaminer.
4 – 5 pm: An original dance performance! Dancers, Marsi Burns and Alice Teirstein, will perform a site-specific dance. They will be accompanied by composer and musician, Andy Teirstein.
There will be two intermissions and a reception at 5 pm. Please join us!
