Please join us Friday, November 6, from 6-8p for the opening reception of “White Borders”, a new solo exhibition by Johannah Herr at Cuchifritos Gallery. Through hand-tufted rugs, patterned wallpapers, and familiar domestic ornamentation, Herr turns the visual language of comfort into a sharp look at American identity, immigration policy, and state violence.
“White Borders” is made possible by the Dual Workspace Residency Program, presented by Artists Alliance Inc. and Dieu Donné.
