SCOTT & BOWNE is proud to present its first large-scale exhibition of oil paintings by Kent artist George Wittman, entitled “The Four Seasons of the Field” from July 30 – September 5, 2011. The exhibition documents the changes through the seasons at Marble Valley Farm in Kent, CT. Ripe with images from the farm, Wittman’s paintings focus on the farm’s fields, buildings, machinery, and produce. The resulting work is remarkably vivid, contemporary and meaningful.
