Saturday on June 18th, Hygienic Art Park will open the gates at 6:30pm to share powerful and moving Haitian music with the community. Hygienic Art Park’s stage has long stood as a music and performance arts beacon in Southeastern Connecticut and is honored to present Lakou Mizik, a multigenerational collective of Haitian musicians formed in the aftermath of the devastating 2010 earthquake. The group includes elder legends and rising young talents, united in a mission to honor the healing spirit of their collective culture and communicate a message of pride, strength and hope to their countrymen and the world.

The Lakou Mizik concert is open to all ages. Hygienic Art encourages those interested to purchase tickets in advance by visiting Hygienic.org or calling 860-443-8001. Tickets are $10 in advance and a suggested donation of $14 at the gate.
