Kaapcke, painter and Moverman, pianist present an evening-length performance and exhibition, the culmination of a 2-yr collaboration. Turning Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” upside-down, Kaapcke presents paintings inspired by the music selected by the duo and performed live by Moverman. Works by Bach, Beethoven, Copland, Part and more. There will be a wine-tasting at the intermission, and an casual talk with the artists afterward. Full color catalog available.
