Montserrat alumnus Anthony Palocci Jr. (‘09) paints visceral portraits of ordinary, often overlooked objects from the home, studio and streets. Fans, fridges and keypads appear emotive due to warm underpaintings and thick and thoughtful paint application. His work is on view in the Schlosberg Gallery, August 23 – September 20.
