This weekend, on December 9th and 10th, young fine-artist Dimitra Milan will be hosting the second part of her Hawai’i Fall tour starting in Waikiki at the Signature Gallery. The show will be held from 6-9pm, with a live painting, auction and a meet & greet with the popular artist.

The next day Dimitra will be meeting her parents John and Elli Milan on the Big Island to hold a group family show at the Genesis Gallery Waikoloa. The show will last from 5:30-9:30pm and will be a rare opportunity to attend an art show exhibiting both Dimitra and her parents’ artwork together.

John and Elli Milan – Dimitra’s parents – collaborate as a team to create aggressively layered pieces that brings each of their artistic perspectives into their paintings. Their trademark tagline “Two Hearts One Canvas” perfectly describes the individual passion they have that seems to come together impeccably, creating an experience within each painting.

Dimitra has many new originals and pieces that she has been working on over the year, and her maturity as an artist is already evident since the last time she visited us in the pacific. This is an amazing chance to see the diversity and depth of the paintings – and the artist – in person.
