Gallery 40 in Poughkeepsie, NY presents the thematic exhibition: What’s Your Favorite Color. The exhibition is open to all interpretations of the concept. All media and interpretations of the theme will be reviewed and considered. This is a juried exhibition.
Color is often one of the most exciting components of a painting. In both figurative and abstract paintings, color can be used for its decorative beauty, to create mood, and to express or arouse an emotion. In nature and in art, color has a profound effect on the viewer. Submit your pieces for this juried exhibit which depicts your favorite color. Include a few words as to why that is your favorite color.
