In honor of National Poetry Month in April, Crossings at Carnegie invites poets and artists to enter the 19th Poet-Artist Collaboration, an annual exhibit in which artists create work inspired by poetry.
We request that poets and artists attend the reading and reception on April 26, unless it is impossible for you to do so. We also encourage you to invite guests to enjoy the evening with you. The reception is held in the Crossings gallery, with light hors d oeuvres and wine. The reading takes place at a vintage theatre next door and features the artwork displayed on a large silver screen. The poets read their work and the artists discuss how the poems inspired their art. It is not only an opportunity for the poets and artists to meet each other, but an unforgettable evening of camaraderie for all those who love the arts!
